A tribute by the Dunedin City Jazz Orchestra

It was all about Love for Cole Porter! One of the most prolific and sophisticated song writers of the 20th century, Porter wrote many wonderful tunes that have become iconic jazz standards. The DCJO pays tribute to this great composer with a programme of his most famous titles like 'Love For Sale', 'In The Still Of The Night', 'Night And Day', 'Begin The Beguine', 'I Get A Kick Out Of You' and more! As always the DCJO will perform a variety of styles from smooth ballads and the liquid sounds of Arty Shaw to high energy, up-tempo swing arrangements plus vocal features.
