Roots & Rhythms

Dunedin City Wind Orchestra are proud to present Roots & Rhythms - in conjunction with our special guests Mosgiel Brass Band.

This is a folk music inspired concert, with "Krzesany" by Kilar as our major work. Mark Anderson is conducting, and we are playing his own arrangement of Krzesany. We are very privileged to have a conductor arranging pieces specifically for our group, and this unique piece has been a lot of fun to rehearse. Together with Mosgiel Brass it will be quite the sound! Alongside this DCWO will be presenting "Romanian Dances" by Bartok and Mosgiel Brass will also have a moment in the spotlight with a piece of their own.

As always, cash at the door only for tickets - $10 per person, and each ticket is allowed one child free entry with it.
