Title: Mixed Media madness
"How I fell into making mixed media artworks.”
Wednesday 27th, Artist Denise McMahon
Title: Exploring Abstract
“I work with patterns in an abstract style using mixed media techniques. I focus on the elements of shape, colour, line and form enjoying the freedom of interpretation.”
Thursday 28th, Artist Wen Li Ma
Title: Light and Space
Wen Li is an accomplished artist with her own unique style. Her landscapes and bird paintings are delightful, well known and loved by many.
Friday 29th, Artist Rod Eales
Title: Art of the Flower
“The inspiration for painting flowers comes from a love of gardens and a deep connection to the natural world. Painting each flower is a celebration of that connection. Each flower has its own story to tell, and its own unique journey from garden to painting.”
Saturday 30th, Artist Sharon Pine
Title: Mosaics by Sharon Pine
Sharon is a Dunedin mosaic artist who has been enthralled by this ancient art form since being introduced to it 25 years ago. Come along to learn about her mosaic work and how she turns broken pieces into beautiful works of art.
Demonstration Days with at least 13 artists demonstrating their skills and techniques also operate on these days.
