Join me on a hike to a beautiful part of the Cooley Mountains. Starting from the Long Woman's Grave we will head up to Foxes Rock with it's wonderful views over Omeath and Carlingford Lough before winding our way down and back up to Ravens Rock. Here we will take a short break surrounded by the rest of the hills and looking out over Dundalk Bay. On a clear day, the views on this hike are truly gorgeous but even on a not so clear day it is still a lovely walk 😊
This route starts steep and there are plenty of inclines and uneven mountain terrain so it does require a decent level of fitness in order to keep us mobile in the winter weather. Proper clothing and footwear is essential. No jeans or runners. If that hasn't scared you off then come and explore with us 😁
