Level: Suitable for all.
About the course:
Discover the art of fold forming in this fun and energetic two-day workshop, led by award-winning jeweller Jenny Deans.
This course is suitable for both beginners and experienced practitioners looking to learn a new technique. Participants will be introduced to the basic techniques used to transform flat sheet metal into a variety of interesting 3-dimensional forms using simple tools.
Participants will create a series of samples with fold, hammer and rolling techniques before working towards a finished piece. This could take the form of earrings, a pendant, bracelet or a more sculptural object for the home like a spoon or candlestick.
