SomaYoga for Menopause (Peri to Post)
Do you experience any of the following: hormone level fluctuations, irregular periods, changing digestion, weight gain or redistribution, heart palpitations, feeling hot / sweaty, dry skin and nails, mood changes, anxiety, rage, brain fog, or any other unexplained physical or emotional change? You might be experiencing perimenopause or menopause.
This special series uses yoga as the lens to focus on 4 important topics: strength, balance, function, and restoration as a way to smooth your transition into, through, and out of menopause.
This class will include handouts, a symptom checker scoring chart, and information on what to expect from perimenopause, menopause, and post menopause. Together we will build community, gain knowledge, and care for ourselves in this transition.
Suggested Props: 2 blocks, towel, blanket, strap or theraband, bolster, scarf / eye-cover.
