Atlanta Chinese Dance Company presents a new production “Chinatown Memories”!

Savor the sights, sounds, and smells of Chinatown via a collection of Chinese dances inspired by hand-pulled noodles, fresh tea leaves, embroidered crafts, martial arts movies, Lunar New Year celebrations, and more.

Then journey back in time with us to the Chinese Exclusion Act era to honor an unlikely partnership between an immigrant Chinese teen girl and American suffragists leading a parade on horseback in support of women’s voting rights.

The new work “Votes for Women” features choreography by Kerry Lee in collaboration with guest artists Lilia Cardosi and Cailan Orn (Atlanta contemporary dancers who recently starred in staibdance’s “Between Dog and Wolf”) and Atlanta Chinese Dance Company dancers.
