“The Lostech Caves”

Butte Hold, Periphery Space

6 March 3027

"Jackpot, Mercenaries. We’re inside the SLDF cache and have found a small treasure trove of ‘Mechs and equipment that both we and our employers should be able to make great use of. That is, as long as we can get off planet.

Gary and the Astechs have loaded up the APCs and some recovery vehicles they’ve found with the best they’ve been unable to find. Not all the ‘Mechs are recoverable and the ones that are still need work before they are field ready. So, you can look but you won’t be touching until we get the hell off this Pirate planet and back to Steiner space.

The good news is we are not locked in this cavern with Red Jack and his Pirates on the other side of the door like we originally thought. There’s actually a back door, so to speak. We just need to get out of these caves to where we can send a message to our dropship, The Money Pit, with coordinates to come pick us up asap. All while protecting a small combo of loot. And with Pirates on our heels. And we’re blowing the cavern too.
