We’re pleased to announce that our sister sanctuary, Proteus Reptile Trust, will be holding their autumn/winter Tortoise MOT in collaboration with us in our sanctuary classroom this year. The event is aimed at tortoise owners who want to ensure that their shelled friends are healthy before they go into hibernation. During the event, the experts at Proteus will conduct a thorough health check of your tortoises and provide you with valuable advice on how to take care of them.
In addition to the health check, Proteus will also be answering your questions related to tortoise care. They have a wealth of knowledge and experience in caring for rescued reptiles, and this is your chance to get answers to any queries you may have. Moreover, they will have items for sale, and buying directly from them will help to support their hundreds of rescued reptiles.
It's worth noting that heating and electricity costs have risen dramatically, and Proteus now needs your support more than ever.
