Info: Professor Corinne Fowler is a leading expert in colonial history and heritage, known for her work on decolonisation and Britain’s rural links to Empire. She is the author of Green Unpleasant Land and Our Island Stories, and has led nationally recognised public history projects including Colonial Countryside. Her research and media work continue to shape how institutions and educators engage with sensitive histories.

Jeremy Haywood

Info: Jeremy Haywood is a lecturer at UCL Institute of Education, specialising in citizenship education and the teaching of controversial issues. A former philosophy teacher, he has led the Citizenship PGCE, developed numerous courses, and now leads the MA Education (Citizenship). Jeremy is also a published author and experienced CPD facilitator, known for his work on topics such as Fundamental British Values and conspiracy theories in the classroom.
