About the event

Newbern Founders Day Celebration

Join us 1-3:30 PM at the museum and on the grounds to celebrate the founding of the Town of Newbern in 1810. The museum building was originally the home of Newbern's founder, Adam Hance, and we will mark this special day with German and Swiss-inspired activities. The Fincastle Company Living History Group will be demonstrating life in Newbern at the time of its founding. The event is free. Donations are always appreciated.
