An Evening with Photographer Aaron Hobgood

Originally from Upstate New York, Aaron is a visual artist currently residing in Columbus, Ohio. He uses his photography (film and digital) to tell stories of community, battles with mental health, and personal growth. Although he has found creative expression across many other mediums (collaging and skateboarding at a professional level), his current focus is his love of creating compositions/collages out of moments frozen in time with his many cameras.

When he’s not busy creating for himself, he can be found at World of Photography in Grandview helping others find their first camera or expanding their camera knowledge. He also hosts a monthly photo walk, gives skateboarding lessons, and you can find him curating the sounds of the night across the East Coast under the DJ name Xiiren.
