The Sim Jullivan Experience: Live at the Black Box
Get ready for a vibrant night of live jazz as The Sim Jullivan Experience takes over the Black Box on Thursday 18 December 2025.
This dynamic young Dubbo band, featured in the internationally recognised short film “Nobody’s Business”, has been building momentum across the region thanks to their musicianship, passion, and infectious on-stage energy. They are fast becoming one of Dubbo’s most exciting emerging ensembles.
This performance is proudly presented as part of inspire&ignite, Studio 138’s creative development program for young artists, and the UNBOXED Creative Sessions, made possible through the support of Dubbo Regional Council.
Celebrate the festive season with an evening of rhythm, warmth, and joyful end-of-year energy. It’s the perfect chance to support local young talent and enjoy a night of live music in an intimate creative space.

How to Find the Black Box Theatre
The Black Box Theatre is located upstairs in the Community Arts rooms at the Western Plains Cultural Centre (corner of Gipps & Wingewarra Streets, Dubbo).
