🎻Amateur Strings Workshop — Boyne Music Festival 🎻

We are delighted to invite string players to take part in a new Amateur Strings Workshop at this year’s Boyne Music Festival (BMF). The workshop will take place in the beautiful setting of Townley Hall, and will be led by violinist Meesun Hong Coleman and joined by BMF Artists.

Together, we will work on:

• J.S. Bach – Concerto for Two Violins in D minor (Movement I)
• Edward Elgar – Serenade for Strings (Movements I & II)

The session will be friendly and informal, with a chance to play alongside professional musicians, get some guidance, and enjoy a few hours of music-making in a relaxed and supportive setting. The session will conclude with a short playthrough at 1.45pm. Friends and family are very welcome to attend for this.

The participation fee is €40, which covers administration and includes light refreshments.
