Pirate Ship Race!

These pirates aren't sailing the 'Black Pearl' through the Seven Seas, they're paddling homemade pirate ships in our clear blue Big Pool!
RULES:
- Boat check-in is at 3 p.m. on Sunday, Aug. 24.
- Ships & oars must be homemade with cardboard & held together with duct tape. No other material may be used.
- At most, 4 sailors per ship.
- Once ships are placed in the pool, the sailors will have just 10 seconds to board their vessel (with assistance). Then a whistle will start the race!
- The fastest ship, with its sailors aboard, across the pool & back (with any part of the vessel above the waterline) is the winner!
- Sailors can also win Best Decorated Ship.
