This powerful community event blends elegance, entertainment, and advocacy to raise crucial funds in support of individuals impacted by all types of family violence (domestic, gender-based, and intimate-partner violence).
The Gala is part of the broader Purple Lights Campaign, an annual initiative that encourages Drayton Valley residents and businesses to light up the town in purple every November—honouring survivors, remembering victims, and shedding light on often-hidden issues of family violence.
Hosted by beloved local broadcaster Chris Scheetz, the night promises a high-energy mix of fun and philanthropy, featuring:
• A delicious buffet dinner and fully stocked bar
• Live auction featuring an exciting selection of prizes and experiences
• A lively fun money casino with blackjack, roulette, craps, baccarat, and more
• Live DJ for dancing the night away
• 4 curated tasting booths spotlighting fine whiskey, gin, and even moonshine
