Discovery Day - Winter Birds

Drop in and discover a variety of winter bird–themed activities the whole family will enjoy. Discovery Day is a free, family-friendly event where young explorers ages 3–12 learn about winter birds through hands-on, self-guided activities and exploration. Children and their caregivers can take part in a bird-themed scavenger hunt using our monthly checklist or head outside to spot winter birds along the trails. Indoor activity stations will help visitors learn how birds survive and thrive during the winter months.
