Meet on the opposite side (Andrew & Wendy’s side) of the Downsville Covered Bridge prior to departure (recommended arrival is 11-11:45am so you have ample time to sign up/get your number). Please do not drive trucks or SUV’s through the Covered Bridge. We will be leaving the bridge at 12pm!
We are doing things a little differently this year:
There is still no fee to float! Upon arrival you will be given a number which will be used for the raffle drawing - This year, there will only be ONE age 21+ prize with a $500.00 value, which will be drawn at the end of the float down the river at the picnic. There will still be plenty of prizes for those under age 21. You will be entered to win just by showing up!
*Bring small bills to enter in the 50/50. Tickets will be available before departure and at Harmonie Farm after we float down the river, prior to the drawing.
*BYOB (Boat & Beverage)...and anything else you will need on the river! Please be sure to bring proper flotation devices.
*Cash prize also given for the person/boat that picks up the most trash along the river!
*Trip will end at Harmonie Farm.
*The DVRR will provide some food & refreshments at the destination.
*ALL ARE WELCOME (NOT JUST DVRR MEMBERS)!
