Cub Scout Pack 53 is excited to invite our friends, neighbors, classmates, and families to take part in our Pinewood Derby Open Class! This event is open to everyone - boys, girls, young, and old - not just Cub Scouts.
Many local kids race each year alongside classmates who are in Scouts, and this is a great opportunity for non-Scout students, siblings, parents, and even adults to join in the fun. Whether you’ve built a Pinewood Derby car before or this is your first time, you’re welcome to participate.
Event Details:
WHEN: Saturday, January 24
WHERE: Downs United Methodist Church
TIME: Check-In: 12:30 PM, Race Start: 1:00 PM
COST: $10 per car for a car kit and registration fee
Participants can build and decorate their own car - keep it simple, or get creative. Each car will race multiple times, and everyone is encouraged to cheer each other on.
Please register in advance using the tickets link below to get your car and add your name to the race schedule!
