An illustrated talk about the former industries of the River Dour which flows through the town, from Tanneries and Breweries to
Corn and Paper Mills.
BOOKING OPENS AUGUST 25TH.
Part of a series of evening talks hosted by Dover Museum for Heritage Open Days focusing on Dover’s ‘lost’ architecture. Please arrive from 5:30pm for a prompt 6pm start, or get there earlier to visit the museum, the miniatures exhibitions and the Bronze Age Boat Gallery.
