Originally constructed as part of a secret communications hub, the Dumpy level sits beneath the castle’s wartime tunnels and was intended to house operations away from potential enemy fire.

Led by an expert guide, you’ll uncover fascinating stories, hidden details, and long-held secrets from this remarkable underground world.

Please wear suitable footwear and clothing; The tunnels can be uneven underfoot, and temperatures underground may be cool. Comfortable shoes and layers are highly recommended to ensure you enjoy the experience fully.
