CHOLESTEROL SCREENING at Dover Public Library

In recognition of February as American Heart Month, Dover Public Library is collaborating with Cleveland Clinic Union Hospital to raise awareness about heart health. On National Wear Red Day, Friday, February 6, hospital staff will be at the library between 9 AM and 11 AM to offer a blood pressure check and a 5-minute instant screening for total cholesterol, good (HDL) and bad (LDL) cholesterol, as well as triglycerides and blood sugar. The most accurate results are achieved with a 12-hour fast. The cost is $12 and can be paid in cash or by check. Appointments are preferred, but walk-ins are accepted if space is available.
