Blending Lyrics, Music and Art Workshop

This music and art workshop offers a relaxing and supportive space where participants use music as a tool for emotional expression, personal growth and healing. Through guided therapeutic activities, members engage in collaborative playlist building to reflect their moods and experiences, fostering connection and self-awareness. The session will also incorporate creative exercises like lyric collage, allowing individuals to piece together meaningful song lyrics into visual art that captures their thoughts and feelings. Blending the healing power of music with reflective discussion, this group promotes wellness, emotional release, and a sense of community.
Suggested price is $20, but you may also join for free if cost is a barrier.

Taylor Burnett is a board certified music therapist and candidate for a license in mental health counseling from Dover, NH. She received her master’s degree in clinical mental health counseling with a specialization in music therapy from Lesley University in 2022. She has over 3 years in experience in both the music therapy and mental health counseling field at various organizations and practices in New Hampshire, Massachusetts and Southern Maine. Taylor currently works for the Mental Health Center of Greater Manchester where she specializes in Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy for children and adolescents. Additionally, Taylor works with individuals with depressive and anxiety related disorders, as well as children with neurodvelopmental disorders.
