The Wyoming State Fair recently announced our participation in the newly launched Great American Fair initiative. Announced nationally on July 3, this campaign invites all 50 state fairs to spend the next year honoring the 250th anniversary of the United States. In 2026, each fair will have the opportunity to showcase their efforts, with one being crowned the official Great American Fair.
To help kick off this yearlong celebration and show off the American pride of the West, we're inviting local businesses and organizations to participate in our Great American Window Decorating Contest!
Prizes will be awarded in two categories:
Most Patriotic Window Display: Go all out with red, white, and blue décor, American flags, and patriotic pride!
Best Fair-Themed Window Display: Think Ferris wheels, livestock, cotton candy, rodeos, bring the spirit of the fair to life!
The winners will receive 4 Grandstand tickets to the event of their choosing!
