Join us for Art Dart, the lively art game where everyone walks away a winner, is returning to Douglas this December. The event will take place at LaFontsee Gallery, the newest gallery in the Saugatuck-Douglas art scene, located at 150 W. Center St. The event runs on December 6 from 5:30 to 7:30 pm.
For anyone who hasn’t yet visited LaFontsee Gallery, this is the perfect moment to explore the space. LaFontsee is thrilled to host this beloved event, which was formerly part of Water Street Gallery’s annual schedule.
Art Dart gives every participant the chance to take home an original work of art for $250, making it one of the most inclusive and energetic art events of the season. Past attendees often describe it as one of their all-time favorite community art experiences. The best part: no skill required, just fun, anticipation, and great company.
How It Works:
• Arrive at LaFontsee Gallery at 5:30 pm and purchase a dart for $250.
• Throw your dart at the dartboard until you land on a number.
• You’ll receive a sheet listing your number and space to record your top three artwork choices.
• Enjoy viewing the artwork while sampling appetizers and libations.
• At 7:00 pm, numbers are drawn at random. When your number is called, you dart forward and select your chosen piece.
• After the main selection, all remaining works are available for $250 each.
Art Dart combines art collecting with a game-night spirit, creating an atmosphere that’s welcoming to newcomers and returning fans alike.
