Polar Plunge

Join us for the 3rd annual POLAR PLUNGE on Saturday, January 24, 2026, at the Doug Tew Therapeutic Recreation Center Pool! ❄️💙

The Polar Plunge is a fun and memorable event where participants take a brief jump into a chilly pool to raise awareness and support for our Special Olympic Athletes and Therapeutic Recreation participants.

Participants may plunge individually or as part of a team, dress up for the costume contest, enjoy music and activities, and compete for the Rubber Duck Award through creative fundraising. Those who prefer not to plunge are welcome to attend, cheer on participants, and support the cause!

Proceeds from this event directly benefit the Dothan Area Special Olympics and Doug Tew Therapeutic Recreation Center.
