Icebowl 2026 Located at Occoneechee State Park Clarksville Va
Pre-Registration Friday February 27th, 2026
Pre-Registration will be held at the Clarksville Community Center in Clarksville VA from 12:00pm – 6:00pm

Captains Meeting will be held in person and virtually on the Icebowl Facebook Page live at 6:30pm following the registration.
Tournament Entree Fee: $100.00 Per Boat. There is no limit to how many people can be on your boat but the tournament prizes are based on a two-person team. State laws apply.
$20.00 optional bonus pot.
Tournament Day February 28th &
Morning of Tournament Registration
Once you have pre-registered you are not required to check in the following morning. You may proceed to the water at any time.
Trailering of your boat is allowed, to anywhere on Kerr Lake and its unobstructed waterways.
There are to be NO lines in the water before 6:00am Sharp, February 28th, 2026
and lines out January 31th,, 2026 at 2:00pm Sharp.
There are also no lines in the water after 11:59pm February 27th until the start of tournament.
This includes bait fishing with rod and reel.
For those that can absolutely, not make it to pre-registration,
Registration will begin the morning of the tournament at 4:30 am and will stop at 6:00am.
We highly encourage everyone to pre-register.
Return from Fishing.
All anglers must return by 2:30pm. Failure to return by 2:30pm will result in disqualification. You can NOT have someone else place your boat tag ahead of your arrival.
Weigh in will begin at 2:30pm.
Rules and Regulations
1- " IF" YOU ARE GOING TO FISH FOR A STATE (THIS IS
AN OPTION) Captains must specify if he or she is fishing for
Va or Nc at registration.
2 - There is a daily usage fee required at Occoneechee Landing that is NOT covered by Icebowl organization. Honor system pay at ramp unless you have a park pass.
3 - Tournament will be held rain or shine. Only cancellation will be for unsafe ice and or snow conditions and life-threatening weather. Sever weather will result in post pone.
4 - You are the captain of your vessel and are responsible for your own safety and the safety of your passengers. The
Icebowl organization will not be held responsible for any accidents, injuries, or damage.
5 - Only one catfish per boat may be weighed in. The catfish must be weighed and released alive. Any fish that fails to swim off will result in disqualification.
6 - No fishing within 50 yards of another boat during tournament.
7- Catfish must be caught by rod and reel. No jugs, noodles, limb lines, snagging, or trot line fishing is allowed. No chumming or fishing intentionally baited holes. No pre staged fish.
8 - Ties will be evenly split between the two places in witch they fall.
9 - Any protests must be made before the Awards Ceremony begins. We will not accept any protests thereafter.
10 - All State and Federal rules will be observed.
11 - Polygraph tests will be utilized during Icebowl results. Anyone who refuses to take the polygraph will result in disqualification. Everyone is subject to testing.
12 - Up to 10 places will be paid out pending the number of registered boats.
13 - In the case of a record size fish is caught, you will be allowed to transport the fish to a state weigh in location to be certified. The fish must still be released alive to be eligible for any prize that results in the catch of the fish.
14 – The tournament director reserves the right to change or make adjustments to tournament rules in the best interest of the event at any time.
15 – There is no rod limit. All state laws apply.
16 – No stringers are allowed on any fish. Any signs of stringers will result in disqualification.
17 – A USCG compliant vessel must be used to fish the tournament. All state laws apply.
State Battle
The Vs part of the tournament is between total weight of each
state. No state will have more boats eligible to weigh fish than
another, we will take the top number of boats of the state that
has the least number of boats. For example, if Va
has 25 boats and Nc has 35 boats then only the top 25 boats
from each state will be counted. This will determine
which state receives the trophy /plaque and bragging rights.
Everyone needs to weigh their fish no matter
how small to add more weight to their team’s total weight.
