VE Day 80 Gala at Leith Hill Place

Join royal biographer Hugo Vickers and acclaimed flautist Lisa Friend and composer-broadcaster Jack Pepper for an evening of conversation and music.

Hear Vickers’ personal stories of his encounters with the Vaughan Williams circle, interspersed with flute and piano illustrations of Ralph Vaughan Williams gems, Second World War songs and unexpected musical connections to the present day.

Commemorate 80 years of freedom in the heart of the Surrey Hills - enjoy a glass of bubbly in an intimate and friendly setting, the living room of a legendary composer, sharing in fine music and stories as the sun sets. £45 per person.
