Velvet-voiced singer Jo Harrop returns to St Mary's Sessions with her incredible band, pianist/composer Paul Edis and ace bassist Jihad Darwish.
Jo recently supported Gregory Porter at the Royal Albert Hall and his other UK gigs in April/ May, so we're really lucky to host her and her superb band again. Trust us, you won't be disappointed, and if you're unfamiliar with our venue, then prepare for a very intimate and exclusive evening of music.
Previous accolades include Larry Klein producing her 2024 album, The Path Of A Tear; Winning Best Album 2023 in The Parliamentary Jazz Awards for Winter Turns To Spring.
“Jo Harrop’s music comes straight from the heart. I heard it in her voice the very first time I listened to her.” Larry Klein (Producer – The Path Of A Tear)
“Jo Harrop is a very fine jazz singer… a superb and unimaginably good vocalist ”. — Iggy Pop, BBC Radio 6 Music
"Jo does not just sing a song, she lives and breathes it; she believes in what she is singing and that belief is transferred to the musicians around her which, in turn, creates something quite magical.” Simply Jazz Talk.
