Extra walk for November to make up for me only being able to run one walk in December.
ABOUT
2.4 mile loop at Holmbury Hill, part of the Hurtwood near the village of Peaslake, south west of Dorking and south east of Guildford.
Most of this walk is on wide, well maintained paths. Couple of slopes, but nothing to write home about. We’ll include the site of Holmbury Hill Iron Age fort and the viewpoint, where the view is very pleasant on a clear day. We haven’t had much joy with the weather in the past and both times we’ve been here, it’s been overcast, the view hidden by fog. Surely, it’ll be third time lucky?
