Info: Participants will step into the world of Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning to discover how smart systems learn, adapt, and make decisions. Through hands-on exploration, they will build and modify their own AI model inside Scratch, teaching it how to respond, react, and generate creative outcomes.
Using coding logic and simple machine learning concepts, participants will design an interactive AI-powered character that can help generate a dynamic story. By the end of the workshop, each participant will have created a functioning AI-inspired Scratch project that produces a unique, AI generated story experience. Please pre-register at check-out and bring your own laptop (limited lender laptops will be provided for students who need them).
Info: Unleash your child’s creativity and problem-solving skills in this hands-on workshop where Minecraft becomes a powerful STEAM learning tool! Students dive into the world of Minecraft modding, creating their own items, blocks, and mini-features using kid-friendly coding platforms. Through fun challenges and guided projects, participants will explore key STEAM concepts—engineering, physics, coding logic, design, and digital creativity—all inside the game they love. Perfect for curious builders and young coders, this workshop helps kids: Learn the fundamentals of coding through Minecraft mods, apply STEAM principles to solve in-game challenges, build creativity, collaboration, and computational thinking, design a world that reflects their imagination and ideas. A fun, safe, and educational experience that merges play with real-world skills. No prior experience is required. Please pre-register at check-out (limited lender laptops will be provided for students who need them).
Info: Get ready to code your own Spiral Surprise! In this workshop, we’ll use Scratch to build colorful spirals that grow outward from the center of the screen. Students will experiment with different versions of spirals, customize their designs, and see how simple code can create amazing digital art. Please pre-register at check-out (limited lender laptops will be provided for students who need them).
Info: In this workshop, students will learn how to create immersive AI agents that react to users and simulate real conversations. They’ll combine storytelling, logic, and technology to build their own intelligent digital experiences.
