Conor Grimes on Seanchaí John Campbell: The Art of the Master Storyteller

Join us on Monday 8 December 2025 at Donaghmore Heritage Centre, 8.00pm, for a festive evening of story and song inspired by master Seanchaí John Campbell.

Actor and comedian Conor Grimes shares tales learned in the old oral tradition, celebrating the art of the Seanchaí – the traditional Irish storyteller.

Live music comes from David J Bell (Ardtrea & Desertcreat) and Irish folk artist and storyteller Sinéad Willox, whose debut album “Seoda Uladh (Jewels of Ulster)” draws on the rich song traditions of Ulster.

Expect stories, laughter, live music, tea and biscuits, and a warm welcome for familiar and new faces.

Tickets: £5 in person (pay at the door) or £5 for a Zoom link via Eventbrite. £20 annual membership of Donaghmore Historical Society also available.
