DHUNLAB : THE ALTAR

A historic night for the culture. Dhunlab takes over one of Melbourne’s most iconic heritage spaces -The Mission to Seafarers - for a once-in-a-lifetime sonic experience where spirituality meets the underground.

For the first time ever, Desi/South Asian electronic music, global sounds, and rave energy collide inside a former church. Expect a powerful journey of culture, rhythm and liberation, with a lineup curated to shift frequencies.

🎧 Headliner: MANJ (UK)
A UK-based selector and producer whose Boiler Room Southall set celebrated the diasporic Punjabi club sound with full force. Blending UKG, jungle and bass-heavy energy, MANJ brings the essence of the UK underground straight into the altar.

⚡ Co-Headliner: JPS B2B KAHU
JPS (Jerry Poon) — Founder of The Operatives, one of Melbourne’s most respected bass and electronic collectives. A DJ, promoter and cultural connector, he’s performed alongside global names and on triple j Mix Up, cementing his place in the scene.

KAHU (Kahu Murupaenga) — Māori DJ/producer from Aotearoa, now based in Naarm. One half of Bavhu, with Boiler Room and festival appearances across NZ and AU. His sound fuses rhythm, groove and atmosphere built for deep, spiritual dancefloors.
