Pumpkin Hike at Mueller State Park

Come in warm clothes or costume for fun fall activities happening around the Visitor Center during this family friendly event!

Learn about nocturnal animals, create your own bear ears for a last minute costume, try to survive your own bear hibernation challenge and enjoy some hot chocolate.

For the main event walk part of the Wapiti Trail that will be lit with hand carved pumpkins carved by staff, volunteers and community members! Then vote for your favorite at the Visitor Center.

Want to show off your pumpkin carving skills? Drop off a carved pumpkin at the Visitor Center between 9am-3pm October 11-17 to add your carving to the pumpkin trail and be entered to win the contest. The winner with the most votes will receive a prize from the gift shop.

This is a free event; although you must have a park pass to access the park. Passes can be purchased for $10/vehicle.

Dogs are not allowed on the trail or in the Visitor Center.
