Gabriel Byrne: The Books That Have Influenced Me

Writer and actor Gabriel Byrne (Walking with Ghosts) shares the books that have influenced him throughout a life spent reading. From childhood classics to genre fiction, he talks about the authors he admires, the novels he couldn't stop reading, and the characters who leapt off the page and still live on in his imagination.

Dingle Lit regrets that once purchased, tickets cannot be transferred, exchanged, refunded or returned unless the event is cancelled, rescheduled, or if details of the event are significantly changed after an order is placed. In the event of the cancellation/change of an event, Dingle Lit will only refund the face value of the ticket. It is the responsibility of the ticket holder to ascertain whether an event has been cancelled and the date and time of any rearranged performance. If an event is cancelled, rescheduled or changed, Dingle Lit will email everyone who has booked through Eventbrite and will use reasonable endeavours to notify ticket holders of the cancellation/change. Please note that Dingle Lit cannot guarantee that ticket holders will be informed of such cancellation before the date of the event.

Refunds will only be offered if the event is cancelled.

Ticket holders consent to be filmed, photographed and recorded as members of the audience. The resulting film footage, images and recordings may be used to promote the Book Festival and its activities in print, in the media and on websites. Dingle Lit will endeavour to inform attendees prior to the commencement of the event if filming is to take place.
