Dearest DC/MD/VA Paddling Community and Friends…
As most of you know… this is my favorite event of the year!!!
This will be the 15th year for the Markoff's Haunted Forest Tailgate.
Alright! Now to the details for this year's tailgate:
1) You are responsible for getting your own ticket. Ideal timeslot is 8:30 for Trail and the Town Ticket doesn't have a timeslot. (

2) You can join in the festivities for FREE even if you aren't a Haunted Trail or Town kind-of person... You will have access to the "Cursed Village" grounds for free.
This space is full of energy, defined by the giant bonfires, our weird ghouls & goblins, crazy DJ, and high risk activities. Some nights MHF hosts local entertainers: live bands, dance groups, and (if you’re lucky) fire spinners.
3) The TAILGATE
* Starts at 5:30pm. We'll start to wrap things up at 8-ish and make our way to the Cursed Village
* Bring a snack/ghostly goodies to share
* Bring whatever utensil(s) that your dish/beverage requires.
* Costumes are welcomed!
HOW TO FIND US: I will have balloons on my SUV (Kia Telluride - Navy) and there will be a tent extension and lights over/off of my tailgate! Can’t miss us!
