Bronze Scent Detection Course

Our Scent Detection Course has been incredibly popular with all shapes, sizes, breeds....any dog can do it!!
Running for 6 weeks at the Dewsbury Rams Stadium, this course harnesses your dogs best sense.....SMELL!
Did you know that, depending on breed and type, a dog's sense of smell is between 10,000- 100,000 better than ours?
Humans can smell a teaspoon of sugar in a cup of tea..... dogs can detect 1/2 a teaspoon of sugar in an Olympic-sized swimming pool
Scent work is suitable for all dogs breeds and all ages - puppies use their sense of smell from birth! It can be fabulous to help with reactivity issues, puppy biting, jumping up at people, and rescue cases. Unlike classes like agility that require dogs to work independently from their owner - so a lot of off-lead work - this is a class that you can do on-lead and your dog will find highly stimulation, highly arousing and mentally tiring!
