On August 17, come enjoy a deeply restorative evening of gentle movement and sound in the tranquil setting of the Alpine Garden.
Yoga in the Garden begins with a gentle and inclusive hour long yoga practice led by instructor Melanie Maltais from 6:30 p.m., to 7:30 p.m. You are encouraged to immerse yourself in the soothing sounds of nature, feel the warmth of the sun on your skin, and embrace the beauty of silence during the session, allowing for a deeper connection with breath and sensation. If any movements do not suit you, feel free to modify poses, rest, sit, or lie down at any time. All of you are welcome as you are.
Following a quick break, participants will settle in for a rejuvenating hour long sound bath with Marcus Fung from 8 p.m., to 9 p.m. Using instruments tuned to healing frequencies, the sound bath offers a full-body reset to relax the mind, body, and spirit. The gentle yoga beforehand creates space for the vibrations to resonate more deeply, enhancing the benefits of the sound experience.
Together, these experiences are designed to support nervous system regulation, inner stillness, and deep relaxation.
$49 per person. Includes Garden admission and all day access. The Garden opens at 10am and you can enjoy the Garden until 10pm.
