A Collaboration and Community event for Mental, Emotional, & Physical Wellness in Honor of Mental Health Awareness Month

DeSoto, TX,? April 29, 2025 We're coming together for something real, something powerful. The DeSoto Chamber of Commerce is teaming up with Muhimu Oils Wellness Center, Mending Broken Pieces Counseling and Consulting Services, Locksmith Counseling & Consulting Services, and Med Health & Wellness to bring you Thrive Together: A Wellness & Healing Event on Saturday, May 17, 2025, from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM at 2021 N. Hampton Rd, DeSoto, TX 75115.

This event is all about elevating our community's mental, emotional, and physical well-being. We're not just talking about a couple of workshops or random health tips. We're giving you the chance to tap in with doctors, nurses, therapists, and wellness experts, all in a safe space where you can learn, heal, and connect.

Key Highlights of the Event:

• The Rage Room: Let's be real, everyone needs to blow off some steam. This hands-on, stress-busting experience lets attendees smash and release all that built-up tension. It's fun, it's therapeutic, and it's gonna be a hit. Whether you're feeling stressed or just looking for a unique experience, the Rage Room is the perfect way to let it all go.
• BrainTap: Ready to tap into the mind's full potential? BrainTap offers guided meditation and brainwave technology that'll help attendees relax, focus, and boost their mental clarity. This is where wellness meets innovation. It's the perfect opportunity to reset your mind and elevate your mental wellness.
• Line Dancing: We're bringing the fun with some good ol' line dancing! It's a great way to get moving, connect with others, and feel the rhythm of the community. Whether you're a seasoned dancer or a beginner, this will be a fun and energetic way to get your body moving and have a blast with others.

But that's not all. We're offering a full line-up of hands-on experiences to help you get back to feeling good in your mind, body, and soul. From skincare treatments to fitness demos, we've got you covered. Plus, we've got vendors showcasing wellness-focused products and services, so you can walk away with more than just knowledge.

Local businesses and organizations are invited to sign up as vendors and showcase their
services or products that align with mental, emotional, or physical wellness. Vendor fees
start at $25 to $150. Vendor categories include:
