Makerspace Orientations: In-Person/On-Zoom

NOTE: This program is not a demonstration of how to use the machines. It covers policies, guidelines, safety procedures, and gives an overview of the machinery.

Interested in using the machines in the brand new Canvas Makerspace? Des Plaines Public Library cardholders must attend an orientation and sign a waiver. Register for your orientation today! This program meets in the Canvas at 5:00pm one Wednesday a month.

If you cannot attend the orientation, please contact the Canvas desk at Q2FudmFzRGVzayB8IGRwcGwgISBvcmc= or call the Canvas Desk at (847) 376-2936 to request an alternative day or a disability modification. You will be assigned a day and time to sit in the Canvas with a laptop to watch a recording of the orientation.
