About the event

Winter Solstice Eve at the Observatory
An evening of music and science, featuring a classical guitar concert by members of the Heart of Iowa Classical Guitar Society (HICGS). Guitars Under the Stars 2025 will be followed by a tour of this Des Moines historic landmark and stargazing, if weather permits. Free and open to the public.
