Variety’s Two Days of Compassion Radiothon will now be heard statewide on WHO News Radio and KXNO Sports Radio - helping us provide more support to local children experiencing hospital stays.
Mark your calendars for December 11 & 12 as we continue our mission to support critically ill children and their families across Iowa.
The Variety Compassion Fund helps local Iowa children and their families during long, stressful hospital stays.
With the expansion of our Radiothon, we hope to reach even more Iowans and provide even more support to children and families who need it most.
Through the Variety Compassion Fund, social workers and nurses at our partner hospitals can offer immediate financial assistance and, when needed, a comforting Variety Teddy Bear to families facing difficult days.
Your gift can make a real difference:
$50 – Provides a Pack ‘N Play for a safe sleep space at home
$100 – Covers meals for parents staying by their child’s side
$250 – Supplies a gas card for travel to and from the NICU
$500 – Assists with lodging or urgent household bills like heat and electricity
