Treetops Hospice Moonlight Walk

Get your family, friends and colleagues together, pull on your Moonlight Walk t-shirts and lace-up your trainers as you join us for the 2025 Treetops Hospice Moonlight Walk.

Starting at the recently transformed Derby Market Hall, in the heart of the city centre, the Moonlight Walk will see hundreds of Treetops supporters light up the streets and add some sparkle, whilst taking on a fully-marshalled city centre route which goes past some of the city’s most iconic landmarks.

By taking on either the 5K or 10K walk and fundraising for your local hospice, you’ll help Treetops provide nursing care, palliative care and emotional support for adults and their families in Derby and Derbyshire.

Whether you’re walking to support Treetops Hospice or in memory of someone special, every step you take will help make a difference.

We’ll kick the night off in style with accessory stalls and plenty of entertainment, before the official warm-up ahead of the walks starting at 7.30pm. As you walk the route and reach Derby Cathedral, there will be an opportunity to light a candle in memory of someone special.
