"Tree of Hope" Dedication Ceremony

Hilton Scouts to Grow a “Tree of Hope” from the Legendary Sycamore Gap Tree

The 161st Derby (Hilton) Scout Group is honoured to have been chosen by the National Trust to receive one of just 49 saplings grown from the iconic Sycamore Gap Tree, as part of its Trees of Hope initiative.

Our tree will be planted over the next week or so and we will be holding a dedication ceremony at 1pm on Saturday 29th November next to the Hilton Scout Hut.

(Be aware that the Scout Hut Car Park will be closed for setting up the Christmas Market, but the Village Hall Car Park will remain open.)
