Sgraffito Plates
Sgraffito, an Italian word meaning “to scratch,” is a captivating pottery technique that involves layering slips or underglazes and then scratching through the layers to reveal the clay beneath. This creates stunning contrasts and intricate designs on your ceramic pieces.
In this workshop you will learn the art of Sgraffito, select your choice of a Round, Square, or Oval sized Plate.
During this Intermediate workshop and art class, you’ll learn basic skills of Sgraffito using real clay.
