Dear Western New York Community,
We are reaching out to local businesses and community members to request donations for a benefit honoring Tom Fries. Tom is a beloved husband, father, Lancaster-Depew Baseball and Regals Hockey coach, and lifelong community advocate who is currently battling end-stage kidney disease.
Tom is in urgent need of a kidney transplant, and his medical expenses have grown significantly. He is on daily dialysis until he finds his life-saving kidney match. Once he receives his transplant, he will need lifelong medication and medical care. To learn more about Tom’s story, visit

Throughout his life, Tom has been the first to step up for others - now it is our turn to step up for him. From coaching youth sports to volunteering in countless local events, Tom has made a lasting impact in the Lancaster-Depew and Western NY communities. His family and loved ones are hosting a benefit in his honor to raise funds for his medical expenses and continued care.
