Welcome to Sacred Mirrors - a space for deep connection, community, and presence.
At Sacred Mirrors, we gather with the shared intention of showing up as our full, authentic selves—curious, compassionate, and open to being seen. We draw inspiration from the practice of Authentic Relating, a decentralized movement rooted in listening, reflection, and connection.
What is Authentic Relating?
Authentic Relating is a relational practice that invites us to:
• Slow down
• Listen deeply
• Reflect honestly
• Share the impact of what we hear
We also turn away from advice-giving and “fixing,” and instead lean into curiosity—exploring what someone feels, what it’s like to share it, and what it means to be witnessed. If someone does ask for advice, feel free to share your truth—but this gathering is an opportunity to practice noticing when you’re tempted to jump in before that moment arises and lean into uncovering more of our community members inner worlds first.
Please be aware that, as hosts, we are not here as experts or to “be in charge”—we’re here as participants, weaving a communal tapestry of presence and conversation. That said, as organizers we are always available to support safety and flow. If you have questions, concerns, or just feel a bit lost and want a conversational guide, please please find us and let us know. We will be lit up so we’re easier to find, and happy to help!
We invite you into a simple somatic exercise to transition into the space before you grab a name tag to reset your intention. We will have icebreaker questions inspired by authentic relating concepts, and gold stars for those who choose to use them to interact with other attendees. Collect gold stars/initials on your loyalty card at any Glass Vault or MEARS event to build up credits towards rewards, come to Lil'Devils for the event to find out more!
