Have you or a loved one been hit by a driver while walking, biking, or riding?
If so, this is the moment to speak out.
We’re inviting you to join us for Route2Change — a first-of-its-kind mobile town hall bringing Colorado lawmakers, decision makers, crash-victim families, and community members like you to talk about how we can stop future tragedies on our roads.
Last year, 134 pedestrians and cyclists were killed on our Colorado roads. This year, Denver pedestrian deaths have jumped more than 50%, according to the Denver Post.
It has to stop. Our organization, The White Line foundation, is fighting to make our roads safer for everyone. On Thursday, October 23, we’re hosting a community reception &
forum in Denver. Together, we will share stories, honor lives lost, and demand action.
We’re also looking for local community members to share their stories during the reception. If you or a loved one have been hit by a driver while walking, biking, or riding, we
want to hear from you. Have you:
• Had a loved one or friend killed by a driver?
• Been seriously injured by a driver—or know someone who was?
• Had a close call while walking or biking that made you say “enough is enough”?
• Witnessed a traffic incident you can’t forget?
• Responded to a pedestrian/cyclist crash or treated a victim?
This is a chance to share your voice and push for change by showing up and speaking directly to the people in power. If you’d like to share your story at Route2Change, just let us
know when you RSVP at www.thewhiteline.org/r2c/Denver.
We’re looking forward to seeing you soon. Thank you!
