Native Arts Artist-in-Residence Open Studio Hours

Join Robert King (Chahta Okla, Choctaw Nation of Oklahoma), the DAM's 2025 Native Arts Artist-in-Residence, for open studio hours on Tuesday and Thursday afternoons during his residency (September 4-23).

Robert King is a self-taught ceramic artist who collaborates with the wild clay, rocks, minerals, sand, and trees surrounding his home and studio in Galisteo, New Mexico to craft ceramics that express the natural environment where these materials have rested for millennia.
