Participants are invited to this exciting and hands-on workshop, where a door to the fascinating world of psychology will be opened! Led by Faculty and PhD students from the University of Denver, this interactive session explores the science behind how children learn and think.
Through fun demonstrations and engaging activities, we’ll bust common myths about the brain and learning, using real psychological science. Kids will walk away with a better understanding of how their minds work—and how to make learning even more effective and enjoyable.
What to Expect:
· Myth-busting with science
· Interactive experiments and games
· A fun, supportive atmosphere for curious young minds
Whether your child is a budding scientist or just loves to ask “why,” this workshop is the perfect way to spark their interest in psychology and empower them as learners.
This event is for 6th-8th graders. You don't need to be a girl or Girl Scout to participate. This is not a drop-off event. All kids must be accompanied by a caregiver. Please arrive by 10am for check-in. Contact Q2hyaXN0eSAhIE1jTWFoYW4tQnJhbmR0IHwgZ3Njb2xvcmFkbyAhIG9yZw== with questions.
